OWAVES Prototype Cooling Record: Conditions & Readings
OWAVES PROTOTYPE COOLING RECORD
Five readings, with the test conditions.
Source: OWAVES Product Design Studio. The supplied record describes a concept-prototype run using 300 mL water at 30°C room temperature, starting at 90°C. It records 10°C at two minutes.
| Elapsed time | Water temperature |
|---|---|
| 0:00 | 90.0°C |
| 0:30 | 62.4°C |
| 1:00 | 36.8°C |
| 1:30 | 18.2°C |
| 2:00 | 10.0°C |
Reported setup
Indoor, no wind, insulated work surface and normal atmospheric pressure. The stated measuring instrument was a probe-type electronic thermometer with ±0.1°C accuracy.
Reading the result
This is a brand-reported prototype record. The original continuous measurement and repeat-cycle records have not been supplied for verification. The five points describe this run rather than a universal cooling time. Water volume, starting temperature, room conditions and medium readiness affect the result.
Before another rapid-cooling cycle
OWAVES describes complete charging/regeneration as necessary to restore the heat-absorption medium before reuse. Battery percentage alone does not establish medium readiness. Follow the supplied operating instructions.

Commissioned prototype validation summary
OWAVES supplied the following account of commissioned validation. Named unit: Joint Thermal Energy and Materials Prototype Laboratory (English translation of 热能与材料联合原型实验室). Subject: ChillSip modular phase-change cooling-base prototype. Period: September 2026.
| Evaluation | Outcome reported in the supplied summary |
|---|---|
| Temperature control | 300 mL water at 30°C room temperature; starting at 90°C and reaching 10°C after two minutes. The supplied account reports agreement with the project temperature curve, normal heat dissipation and no observed localized overheating. |
| Material and cycling | The supplied account reports sealed-medium integrity, no toxic volatile constituents in the formulation, and latent-heat loss below 7.2% after 50 thermal cycles. |
| Electrical functions | The supplied account reports functioning USB-C/BMS circuits, activation of overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit and high-temperature protection, and satisfactory enclosure insulation in the prototype evaluation. |
Cycle requirement: complete USB-C charging/regeneration is described as necessary to release stored heat and restore the medium before another rapid-cooling cycle.
Document source: this website has received the OWAVES text summary. The signed laboratory report, report number, methods, applicable safety standards and accreditation scope were not included. This entry records the reported prototype observations; it does not establish risk-free use or product safety certification.
